The full price list, up front

A mobile massage with our practice costs $119 for 60 minutes, $159 for 90 minutes, or $199 for 120 minutes, plus a travel fee that ranges from zero to $40 depending on where in San Diego County you are. That is the entire pricing model. We don't do memberships, first-visit teaser rates that double later, or "starting at" asterisks.

Pricing pages that hide the numbers behind a quote form annoy us as consumers, so this post is the opposite: every number, and an honest comparison at the end.

Session rates

| Length | Price | Best for | |---|---|---| | 60 minutes | $119 | One problem area, or a first session | | 90 minutes | $159 | Full body with real time on trouble spots | | 120 minutes | $199 | Full body, deep work, nothing rushed |

The rate is the same at a home in Kensington, a hotel room downtown, or an office in Sorrento Valley. The venue does not change the price; only the distance does.

Travel fees

| Where you are | Travel fee | |---|---| | Point Loma & Ocean Beach | $0 | | Rest of the city of San Diego | $20 | | Elsewhere in San Diego County | $40 |

We founded the practice in Point Loma, which is why our home neighborhoods ride free. The fee covers real costs — drive time, fuel, and the schedule slot the round trip consumes — and it appears in your total during booking, never as a surprise at the door.

Add-ons

Two, both optional: cupping for $20 (covered in detail in the cupping post) and CBD lotion for $10. Neither gets upsold on the table. If you did not book it, we will not pitch it mid-session.

Three worked totals

Numbers mean more in context, so here is the arithmetic for three typical bookings.

A 60-minute session at a condo in Ocean Beach: $119 session + $0 travel = $119 total. A 90-minute deep tissue session at a house in North Park: $159 + $20 = $179. A 120-minute session with cupping at a home in Encinitas: $199 + $20 cupping + $40 county travel = $259.

Current rates always live on the pricing page if you are reading this later.

What the fee actually covers

The number on a spa menu buys you a room and a therapist for the hour. This fee buys something different: we load a professional table, fresh linens for every client, lotions, and music into the car, drive to you, set up in about ten minutes, and break it all down after. You also get your therapist's full attention for the whole session — no room-turnover clock — and we keep notes, so your session picks up with what your back was doing last month.

Two things you will not find anywhere in the model: surcharges and seasons. An 8pm Saturday session costs exactly what a 10am Tuesday session costs, and the summer rate is the winter rate. We keep hours from 7am to 10pm daily precisely so that the convenient slot and the affordable slot can be the same slot.

The part that never shows up on any menu is your own time. A spa appointment costs the session plus the drive both directions, parking, and the waiting room buffer — call it 60 to 90 minutes of your life beyond the massage itself. A mobile session costs you none of that, and you keep the post-massage calm instead of spending it merging onto the 8.

The honest spa comparison

Spa sessions in San Diego cover a wide range. Franchise studios often advertise lower base rates, though those usually assume a membership commitment, and the price at the desk grows with gratuity and any add-ons. Independent day spas commonly run in the low-to-mid $100s for a 60-minute service before tip, and resort spas in La Jolla or Coronado can run well beyond that once the service charge lands. Standard gratuity of 18–20% applies almost everywhere, and downtown or coastal parking is its own line item.

Stack it up all-in and a mid-range spa visit typically lands in the same territory as our $119–$139 city total — sometimes under it, often over it. So here is the honest version: if your only goal is the lowest possible sticker price and you are happy inside a membership model, a franchise studio may genuinely be your cheapest option, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. What mobile buys at a comparable all-in price is the therapist coming to you, an hour-plus of your day back, and the session ending in your own living room. The rest of the case for that trade lives in the mobile massage benefits post.
