These terms are the agreement between you and Vitality San Diego LLC, doing business as Vitality Massage Therapy, whenever you book or receive our services. By requesting an appointment, you accept them.
Booking is a request, not a guarantee
Submitting the booking form sends us a request. Your appointment is not confirmed until we confirm it by text or email, usually within one business day. Until then, no session is reserved and no charge applies. Cancellation, rescheduling, and fee details live in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Your responsibilities
To keep every session safe and effective, we ask that you:
- Disclose health information accurately. Tell us about medical conditions, pregnancy, recent surgery or injury, allergies, and anything else that could affect bodywork. Our Wellness Disclaimer explains why this matters.
- Provide a safe, smoke-free space. For in-home and in-office sessions, we need a clear, flat area of roughly 7 × 9 feet near a power outlet, kept smoke-free during the session.
- Be ready at the scheduled time. Session time starts as booked; late starts may shorten the hands-on time.
Our right to decline or end a session
Our therapists provide professional, therapeutic massage only. We may decline a booking, or stop a session at any time, if continuing would be unsafe, outside our scope of practice, or inappropriate. We hold a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct of any kind — any such behavior ends the session immediately, with the full service fee due. Our Client Conduct Policy covers this in detail.
Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash, collected at the time of service. Travel fees, where they apply, are shown before you confirm a booking.
Limitation of liability
Massage and bodywork are provided for relaxation and general wellness, not as medical diagnosis or treatment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
